Dana brings more than 17 years of experience from the biopharmaceutical industry, working for such companies as Abbott Laboratories, Chiron Corporation and Novartis. She held roles in sales, marketing, new product planning, business development, and health policy and reimbursement management.
Dana's experience in oncology, HIV/AIDS, vaccines, and diabetic supplies has encompassed new product development, promotional and medical communications program development, as well as manufacturing, distribution, and customer service coordination. Additionally, she has developed and implemented reimbursement training within corporations, and with customers at the hospital level.
While working for Chiron and Novartis in Washington, DC, Dana developed expertise in health policy and reimbursement. She provided strategic and tactical direction to oncology business units, including orchestration of a significant inpatient DRG payment increase with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Dana received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business.
