Janet Vischak, Consultant Payer Policy Research and Analysis

Janet has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Reimbursement arena. This experience includes Durable Medical Equipment, Radiology and Physician’s Services. Janet’s previous experience includes all areas of reimbursement including prior authorization, medical necessity documentation, billing, coding, claims and accounts receivable collection. She has experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care Plans and Workers Compensation.  

In her previous roles, she was responsible for obtaining payer policy and procedure information. Once new policies were obtained, she was responsible for interpreting the information, incorporating the information into Operating Procedure, and disseminating the information to staff.

Janet works with DKP's detailed payer tracking database and performs research, analysis, and client notification activities of policy and reimbursement for Managed Care Organizations.

Janet received a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana State University.
