Kristin Hart – Consultant, Payer Policy Research and Analysis

Kristin has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the medical insurance industry. Prior to joining DKP, Kristin was Coordinator of Patient Administration for a durable medical equipment company. She was responsible for coordinating delivery of medical equipment to patients’ homes and hospitals which required significant collaboration between the sales force, hospital and/or physician personnel, the patient, and the patient’s insurance plan. Kristin has experience with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care plans, and workers compensation.

Kristin plays a key role in DKP’s customized monitoring services. She works with the firm’s detailed payer tracking database, research, analysis, and client notification activities of policy and reimbursement for government healthcare payers. Kristin provides clinical monitoring services and perspectives on medical practice patterns related to client projects. She tracks Medicare activities and updates our database with the latest information regarding formulary uptake, positioning of new or competitive drugs, Preferred Drug Lists, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee activities, and payment changes for drugs and services.

Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Georgia. Kristin has also earned agent’s licenses in the state of Indiana for life & health as well as property & casualty.
