Madalo Maliro – Consultant, Payer Policy Research and Analysis

Madalo has over 10 years in the healthcare field. Prior to joining DKP, Madalo worked for Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis with Midtown Community Mental Health’s Older Adult Service. She was responsible for working directly with clients - providing case management services and teaching clients the rules and regulation changes pertaining to Medicaid and Medicare services. She analyzed hospital and medical facility data and completed Level II (PASRR) assessments for long term care placement eligibility and provided concise documentation and recommendations to the State of Indiana and Central Indiana Council on Aging.

Madalo plays a key role in DKP’s customized monitoring services. She works with the firm’s detailed payer tracking database, research, analysis, and client notification activities of policy and reimbursement for Medicaid programs. She tracks Medicaid activities and updates our database with the latest information regarding Preferred Drug Lists, positioning of new or competitive drugs, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee activities, and payment changes for drugs and services.

Madalo received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University South Bend and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis.
