WMPAA – Boise, ID

The Western Medicaid Pharmacy Administrators Association is comprised of representative members from State Medicaid Pharmacy programs in the western United States. Their annual conference discusses current Medicaid topics, issues, and potential solutions. Shauna Williams, Business Strategy Consultant, will be attending this year’s conference in Boise, Idaho.

Clinical Pathways Congress – Washington, DC

The conference that focuses on the expansion of clinical pathways and their increasing influence on patient care.

Amy Schroeder, RPh, Senior Consultant, will be attending the most important meeting of 2017 on value-based care – the second annual Clinical Pathways Congress, the official meeting of the Journal of Clinical Pathways. The conference brings together senior leaders throughout the cancer care spectrum to discuss clinical pathways and their impact on improved patient outcomes, quality, and cost measures as healthcare shifts to a value-based model. The 41st annual Eastern Medicaid Pharmacy Administrators (EMPAA) meeting is coming up soon in Newport, Rhode Island, from Sunday October 29 through Wednesday November 1, 2017.  The conference is being held at the at the Newport Marriott. NCCN 23rd Annual Conference – Orlando, FL

The NCCN Annual Conference: Improving the Quality, Effectiveness, and Efficiency of Cancer Care™ attracts more than 1,600 registrants from across the United States and the globe including oncologists (in both community and academic settings), oncology fellows, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with cancer. Respected opinion leaders present the latest cancer therapies and provide updates on selected NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), the data upon which the NCCN Guidelines® are based, and quality initiatives in oncology. Topics change annually but focus on the major cancers and supportive care areas.

COA Conference 2018 – Washington, DC

The 2018 Community Oncology Conference will center on keeping patients and their needs paramount in transforming our nation’s cancer care system. Medicaid DUR Board Meeting – Columbus, OH

The Ohio Medicaid Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board Meeting will take place in Columbus, Ohio on May 8, 2018, 12-2 pm. The meeting attendees will be discussing prior authorization (PA) criteria for cancer drugs.
