For the second year in a row, DK Pierce has been named to the 2018 Best Places to Work in Indiana list, as communicated February 19 by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. DK Pierce is the smallest business entity that has been acknowledged out of 125 total companies on the list, which reflects companies throughout the State of Indiana. Winners were selected from four categories: small companies of between 15 and 74 U.S. employees; medium companies of between 75 and 249 U.S. employees; large companies of between 250 and 999 U.S. employees; and major companies with 1,000 or more U.S. employees.
“We have many tremendous employers in the state, so it’s great to see more and more companies take part in this effort to evaluate their workplace cultures and gain the recognition they deserve,” offers Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. “These organizations come from a wide variety of industries yet they all have a common thread. They continually demonstrate to their employees through their culture, communication, career opportunities, benefits and more how much they value their contributions.”
The actual rankings for the companies will be unveiled at a May 3 awards dinner at the Indiana Convention Center. Last year, DK Pierce achieved the ranking of #5 Best Places to Work (small business) in the State.
“We are so excited and honored to be on the list again this year. We work hard to maintain a company culture that supports an individual’s growth and creates an environment in which employees thrive,” said Denise K Pierce, President and CEO of DK Pierce. “We have just moved into a new office in a conservation corporate park that offers trails and direct access to downtown Zionsville, and we are entering a new phase of growth to develop and nurture our internal company expertise. These are exciting times at DK Pierce, and acknowledgement as a company that does honor its employees’ importance is integral to who we are.”
